It's another travel day, this one a little longer than the last, as the overnight train from Da Nanang to Ho Chi Minh City is the same one we took from Ha Noi, so most of the travel today will be done during our waking hours, but who's counting. We'll still have a cozy bunk to sleep the 16-hour ride away in, and the food is still just as tasty and just as cheap. Get ready for many hours of gazing out the window at the countryside passing by, with greener and greener rice paddies the further south we go, dotted with cone-hatted farmers, grazing water buffalo, white storks taking flight, and little villages filled with scooters.
