Another year, another trip

Time to get ourselves back into the travelling mindset. It requires lots of patience at security while the woman in front of the line unfolds her bag into SEVEN plastic bins. It requires the forethought to remove anything that could slow down the process, including glasses, watches, belts, shoes, jewelry - Mario insists next time he travels, he will wear nothing but a Speedo. It requires the ability to shut down all systems for a predetermined amount of time and go into sleep mode. Ultimately it requires one to realize that all of thes procedures, all of this hassle, is all done with
the ultimate goal of getting somewhere other than here. Somewhere awesome. Somewhere new. Adventure. And maybe we'll be lucky enough to have a glass of Champagne on the way, too.
