It's a very early morning at the airport, but somehow, Mario and I have managed to find this quiet little corner of world, with cafe tables and trees and a colourful graffiti wall behind us, made to feel just like a charming Montreal laneway. But we have it all to ourselves, and so we sit in peace, drinking coffee, eating clementines and spice cookies. It's a cold day outside the window, with a light snow falling from the sky and drifting along the ground under the planes, but we are looking at a sunny 27 degrees C that is waiting for us when we land in Los Angeles. Why LA? Ah. If you don't already know, you will soon enough - the big adventure starts tomorrow. For now, we'll just eat our clementines, fill our water bottles and then head to the gate. Time for another adventure.
